WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe there are fundamental truths that are essential to knowing Christ and growing in Him. These basic doctrines are the core of our faith, and they include:
The Deity of God
God is God, eternally existing and working in three Persons -God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit.
The Inerrancy of Scripture
The Bible is God’s written revelation, and it is divinely inspired through the work of the Holy Spirit. It is without error or contradiction; and all our faith, work, and belief are based on the Word of God.
Salvation and Eternal Security
Salvation comes only through the profession of faith in the death, burial, and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ. Once in Christ, salvation cannot be lost, as it is not based upon our works, but upon the completed work of Christ.
The Body of Christ
The church is comprised of all believers in Jesus Christ, and He is the head of the church. Each believer has a unique gift and purpose in God’s plan, and God calls each believer to be an active part of a local fellowship.
The Blessed Hope
Jesus Christ will return for His church, and every child of God will then be rewarded according to our work for Him. Sin and evil will permanently be removed, and we shall abide in the presence of the Lord for eternity.
